Life revolves around many layers - my art reflects this...

My work is an expression of my dual interest in both geology and psychology - and the link that I perceive between the two.

Our "internal landscapes" develop over time. Layer upon layer of knowledge and experience accumulate to create unique configurations.  Our external landscape has also evolved in accumulating sequences of geological strata - each concealing (and revealing) their own histories.. The human persona, like the rocks that support us, are shaped and moulded by external influences and forces.  Whether consciously or not - positively or negatively - we are all products of nature and nurture.
